Thuridilla undula is characterised by a turquoise bluish green/cream colour. At the parapodial edge is a burnt orange line, followed by a narrow line of black and by an region of vivid blue pigment. Thuridilla undula has undulating parapodial bands. This black and blue pigment is also on the head and the mid region of the rhinophores. The tips of the rhinophores are orange while the base is coloured like the body. Orange, black and blue bands are also present on the anterior margins of the foot.
