Trapania scurra is characterized by a translucent purple or lavender background
colour of the body, deepening to an opaque blue on the head and posterior tip of the body/ foot.
There are larger opaque cream patches scattered on the body. Each white patch is edged with a thin dark - probably blue - line.
The extra-branchial and extra-rhinophoral processes are especially large and opaque white with two translucent bluish or
brownish bands. The gills and rhinophores are translucent clear with darker bluish-purple edging.
