Hypselodoris purpureomaculosa is characterized by the burgundy to purple spots on its white body and an orange/ red band around the mantle edge.
Pretty similar is Hypselodoris iacula which differs by its network of opaque white lines, by its pinkish-white body, and by the scalloped orange mantle margin.
