Hypselodoris bollandi is very similar in external appearance
to the yellow spotted species of Risbecia: Risbecia pulchella,
Risbecia godeffroyana and Risbecia imperialis. Hypselodoris
bollandi is characterised by translucent reddish orange rhinophores
and translucent white gills with red-orange edging. The gills form a simple
circle. This shot shows a juvenile
specimen.
