I think the specimens of the pictures #1, #2, and #5 are colour variants, with whitish-pink tips of the extrabranchial lobes. Thanks for identification of this specimen to Dr. Juan Lucas Cervera Currado It is Aegires sp. 1 in IPN: Gosliner, Terrence M., David W. Behrens & Ángel Valdés. 2008. Indo-Pacific Nudibranchs and Sea Slugs. Sea Challengers Natural History Books. Gig Harbor, Washington. 426pp. at page 144 It was posted at these websites before as Aegires sp. A Genus: Gosse, 1877. For some genera, such as Trinchesia is the alphabet almost through. I had to change the distinguishing alphabetic character into a number. I have chosen 2-digit numbers, even if '01' looks a little bit stupid, and now is only the genus italic written. |
