Platydoris cf. formosa is characterised by large red patches and brownish-green rhinophores.
"cf." is an abbreviation from a Latin word (confer) and means 'refer to' or 'compare with', here it means it could possibly be Platydoris formosa or perhaps something closely related, or at least similar in appearance. Platydoris cf. formosa differs from Platydoris formosa by its brown rhinophores, whilst Platydoris formosa has bright red ones. Very similar is Platydoris cruenta which differs by its hair-like brown lines.
