Nembrotha kubaryana is pretty vriable in coulor. It is black with
green pustules, some have orange
pustules also, or green longitudinal
ridges. There is a bright orange or red border to the foot and around
the oral lappets. The rhinophores and gills have orange markings or are
green. Nembrotha kubaryana is similar in size and colour to Nembrotha
cristata, its main point of difference is the red border to its
foot and to Nembrotha livingstonei , which has also a red border to its
foot, but differs by having a characteristic white cross-like mark between the rhinophores.
Nembrotha kubaryana feeds on the green compound ascidian
Eudistoma olivaceum. and other ascidians.
