Chromodoris tinctoria can be distinguished by the red reticulate
pattern which covers most of the mantle. Some colour variants are labelled
in uw-guides "Chromodoris reticulata", but there are no differences
in internal anatomy, so the earliest name for this species is Chromodoris
tinctoria.
