Chromodoris cf. strigata Rudman, 1982

There are many similar coloured chromodorids which Bill Rudman calls the
"Chromodoris quadricolor colour group" of
species characterised by black longitudinal lines, bluish backgrounds
and orange borders. Chromodoris cf. strigata can be distinguished by
a characteristic pattern of dark translucent patches on the dorsum. They
are arranged in a regular pattern, a pair behind the rhinophores, one in
the centre of the dorsum and a pair just anterior to the gills.
Chromodoris cf. strigata differs from Chromodoris strigata
by having orange longitudinal lines.
