Chromodoris preciosa is characterised by a white mantle with an outer
pale blue, then brownish red and an inner orange/yellow border. The the gills
and rhinophore clubs are translucent red with pigmented white edging to
the lamellae. The mantle can be
clear white or can have a lot of
small brown patches. This shot shows
2 specimens mating.
Pretty similar is
Chromodoris verrieri which has no outer blue line.
