Chromodoris annae  Bergh, 1877

There are many similar coloured chromodorids which Bill Rudman calls the "Chromodoris quadricolor colour group" of species characterised by black longitudinal lines, bluish backgrounds and orange borders. Chromodoris annae can be distinguished by the dark specks in the blue areas. The orange border is just submarginal and in some specimens it is particularly faint. As shown it can be almost white or dark-orange, almost red.
