The sea-slug Ceratosoma flavicostatum is in many uw-guides labelled Miamira magnifica or Ceratosoma magnifica.
It is characterised by a broad whitish margin to the mantle, the rest of the mantle is reddish brown to bright purple with orange rounded ridges. The rhinophores have no white markings, the gills are edged with opaque white lines. At the anterior end of the mantle is no long central lobe.
