Ceratosoma alleni Gosliner, 1996

Tata, a Philippine diveguide at Malapascua island, described an unknown dorid
to me in 2003: "It had a pale colour and extensions like towers". There is no dorid looking like
Ceratosoma alleni, so after a short look at
Mike's shot Tata confirmed my ID. Karin Wessel and Alexander Groeninger wrote that
their specimen with a length of 10 cm had extensions
of approximately 6 cm. Until now Ceratosoma alleni has been
reported only from the Philippine islands.
