Haminoea ovalis is characterised by a white or greenish body covered with numerous rounded yellow or orange, black and purple spots. Sometimes there are also black markings. Haminoea ovalis feeds on algae.
Pretty similar is Haminoea cymbalum which has no black spots or markings. In general Haminoea ovalis looks rather dark, while Haminoea cymbalum looks pale.
