This sea hare Aplysia oculifera can be distinguished by the small
brown eye-spots all over the head and parapodia. The name 'oculifera' means 'bearing eyes' which refers to the small black rings which could be compared with eyes.
Aplysia oculifera is brown to olive-green flecked with white. The parapodia are tall and ruffled.
